Does anyone have the prices of the OEM winter mats? I will ask my Canadian dealer this week, but I'm sure they are cheaper in the USA. If someone can post the price, then I can compare.

Thanks
Dunno but these are all on ebay: http://www.google.com/search?q=gm+rubber+mats+traverse&rls=com.microsoft:en-us:IE-SearchBox&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&sourceid=ie7#q=gm+rubber+mats+traverse&hl=en&rls=com.microsoft:en-us:IE-SearchBox&prmd=ivs&source=univ&tbs=shop:1&tbo=u&ei=TIvXTKG0FoL4sAOWg5GNCw&sa=X&oi=product_result_group&ct=title&resnum=4&ved=0CDwQrQQwAw&fp=4b3eeabb4c23868d

I was going to buy all weather mats and after reading these posts I,m not sure what to buy. I was going to just order the chevy mats thru the dealer until I read this thread. Are the Weathertech mats that much cheaper? I see that some people are devided on what product is better. Does anyone have the chevy all weather mats and what do they think of the quality.

I bought the GM all weather mats from the dealer for about $57 a row. I've got several posts and pictures of them in this thread.

These are rubber material from GM similar to the ones from weather tech that are rubber floormats, very similar price but does GM have different colors like Tan ?

I have had good experiences with the plastic Floor Liner from weather tech , from the photos at Weather tech the rubber floor mats do cover better in the second

and third row than the plasticFloor liner and less money than the floor liners. Especially covering up the seat rails in the floor that have grease in them , that would

be a nightmare to clean sand and road grime out of. :sosad:

I don't know if the GM mats come in different colors. I wanted black so I was set.

Looking at the all-weather mats on WeatherTech, the GM third row mats definitely cover better. In the middle row, if you move the seats up and back a lot I would go with the GM ones as well. It doesn't look like the weathertech mats would allow the seats to move forward much. The GM ones have a fold point in them so they can be folded in half when you want to move the seats forward to allow someone to get in the back.

On the gm mats they have sections that (in the middle and third rows) go under the seat in front of them. This is the greatest flaw of the weathertechs in my opinion. The DigitalFit mats seem to have this coverage, but they lack rail coverage.

It also looks like only the front row uses the build in mat restraint. All rows of the GM mats use them so they don't move around.

To each his own, but IMHO the GM mats are the better deal. If you can find the middle row mat with the step sides I would get those. I've seen them somewhere but I can't find them right now.

they look great. i'M ABOUT READY TO WRITE WEATHERTECH on my mats. I am really didsatisfied. They are now all folded over just crappy. I have kids and the mats should nt be a factor but the kids step on and kick the little lip on the edge all the time and this deforms the mat. This shouldn't be an issue but it is. The problem is that while the mats are molded, the mold is not deep enough in places and this caused them to stick up a bit which makes them get trashed when stepped on or kicked. Not to mention that the tracks for the 2nd row captains chairs are left exposed...just wide open, the whole track...The fronts fit just fine, I have no complaqints about them.

As a new Traverse owner myself I was looking at getting mats for the second row for the kids in preperation for our michigan winters. Anyone have experience with Hexomat that I see is sold thru the company posted on the fourm?

I just installed the the gm rubber mats in my front very neat looking and perfect fit Alittle expensive at almost $70 after tax but I like em

I opted for the Weathertech mats because the GM only came in black, I wanted grey.
I purchased front, second row and full cargo area, they are definitely not plastic. A great fit, cargo area is covered completely, side to side
right up to the back of the second row seats. The front mats have a small cut out area so you can use the mat lock if you so desire.
I put the fronts right over the carpet mats, they fit great and do not move at all. The second row does not interfere with the seat operation,
I chose seperate second row rather then full, put them over the carpet which is full, more of a contrast gray on black, they also do not move.
Good luck and happy matting to all !

I have never seen the two piece floor mats for the second row. Do you have a bench seat in the 2nd row ?

second row has captains chairs with the center console, which I think is great, lots of
compliments

I finally received my digital mats for the front they fit great I love them but in the second row the rubber mats don't cover the total area . They leave the area beside the seats exposed and not covered also it doesn't cover all that well under the front seats. Every time the seats side ahead the mats get completely moved out of place and the third row mat only covers about 65 % of the GM mat all ready there.
I'm sending the second and third row mats back and ordering the Digital fit mat for the second row I'II have to just vacuum more area the exposed seat rails ???

I just got the floor liners yesterday and installed them. They look nice and fit well. The second/third row needs to relax a little but will be just fine after one warm day. I'm very happy that they cover most of the exposed carpet that is subject to shoe muck.

I have the Weathertech floor trays in my Traverse and they fit fine. I purchased heavy duty Velcro from Wal-Mart and just attach strips of the non fuzzy half on the tray at the sill plate and the transmission wall and the Velcro will stick to the carpet and keep the tray in place.

??? Do you have any picture of the fit? I sent them back when I purchased them because I just thought the fit on the back mat was terrible but the only issue I had with the front ones was that when I closed the front doors the top of the mat couch the door bending the mat in. I have there mat’s in my 2004 Silverado and love them. I would like to get a set for the front of the Traverse is the Velcro is a fix.

I just purchased the total protection package the day after I purchased the LTZ. They take a few days to settle into the floors. I have the center console in the second row, used a utility knife to cut along the line that was there for me. They fit all the way to the sills in the front second and third rows. I purchased the smaller liner for behind the third row.

I can compare to their other sets as I have their generic set in my G8. I new wish I spent the few extra buck and got the digi fit. But I don't think they were out in 2008 for my G8.

I am so happy with the Traverse kit, I may get a new set for the G8 next year.

Made in the USA, with USA employees, and USA machines. I am proud to buy American made products, from American made companies, even if my Traverse is only made from 75% of parts that were made in the US.

The only area I'd like the Weather Tech's to cover is the second row set tracks in the floor.

I'll never need to slide the seats and it'd be nice to have the deep slots covered so they don't collect dirt and debris.

Anyone found a good solution for this area?

Duct Tape in black works great.....unless you don't like the look of duct tape
