Well, there are four (4) of them. Bank one intake and exhaust, bank 2 intake and exhaust. Located on front engine cover (belt side of engine) just at or below valve cover to cylinder head sealing line. Any engine codes?

 

Do you have a picture where bank 2 exhaust sensor is and easiest way to get too?

 

What are the codes in the engines computer? Maybe we can help eliminate changing the wrong parts.

 

I have the same thing P0017 OBD-II Trouble Code: Crankshaft Position - Camshaft Position Correlation (Bank 1 Sensor B). The check engine light goes on and off but it runs rough and does not have power, some days are worse than others.

 

I have encountered the same issue with my 2012, were you able to resolve?

 

My 2011 Chevy Traverse has the same issue. Code P0017. Why can't anything be easy in these vehicles. I think GM needs to start looking into what the problem is with this because it seems to be an ongoing issue with alot of GM products.

 

This code points toward the rear/right bank exhaust cam timing. Most likely a stretched chain or an actuator/sprocket. It can also be a solenoid or sensor. I'd want to look at scan data for cam variance being less than 6 degrees, each cam has it's own pid. Also there's pids for desired and actual cam variance for each cam. Since it only has one code the crank reluctor may be ok.

 

This was a diagnosis I had, but it's the timing chain. I hope that helps.

is this also a sensor that is just under the intake on the passenger side of the vehicle?
