Trifecta Tune

Just got my Trifecta tune finished on my 2013 Traverse LS AWD. I LOVE it! This is how these cars should run, from the factory! I like being able to turn it on and off, via the cruise control switch. As good as it is, it is very expensive, considering you don't get a handheld unit. You have to use a laptop to load it, and there are no adjustments. I was skeptical, but I bit the bullet, and glad I did. Haven't seen a lot on here about it, so if anyone has questions, I'd be happy to answer any questions. FYI

It does completely change the way a Traverse drives. I very much enjoy the tune in my '12 LS!
Did a Trifecta in my '15 Malibu. Worth the money.

The Trifecta site will give you all the details.
I've also got a DIY intake installed. It adds a little more oomph, and makes some good noises, too!
Tuners beware!

2x, if 310 hp is not enough power in a soccer mom vehicle you need a Camaro parked next to it.

You know for 4 years GM was nice enough to sell you a very roomy sedan with a very nice LS3 in it to fit all your kids and luggage, ya'll should've bought that instead ;)

For me it's not about the supposed power or torque increases, it's about improving the godawful shift logic on the 6T75. And I was hoping it would tune out the 2-3 and 3-2 issues that there is a TSB out for but that is only fixed by replacing the valve body.

Regardless, it does shift better under most other circumstances and that was worth it.

Loved them then. Love them now. Never remotely been close to affording one and by the time I can they will be used up or unobtabium.

You forgot about the fact that they offered it with a 6 speed manual as well. The balls on these guys, I love it.

Oh, I remember it every day when I get behind the wheel. I had the option to get a manual one but didn't because the wife can't drive stick. Since I bought it new 6 years ago, she's driven it twice. So now I kick myself. Still have a 6 speed in the T/A at least.

I did snag it on 20% off though so the pocketbook hit wasn't much more than our '17 Traverse a year later.

I get my manual kicks from my three on the tree '61 Impala... unsynchronized first gear... maybe a bit too authentic at times, I do like synchros.

Our Traverse was bought almost 5 years ago with 80k on the clock for $15k, we've been out of the new car game for over ten years since we bought a house and started with kids. If I can swing it in a year or two I'll grab a Suburban LS 9 seater.

2x on shift quality. On my '15 Malibu power gain was not noticeable, but the trans. shifting was where it was at. Old school shifts not the short shifting into the highest gear logic of today to get another 1 mpg.
