The Chevrolet Traverse large crossover SUV and the Honda Accord midsize sedan join the BMW 5-Series luxury sedan and the Hyundai Sonata midsize sedan as the only vehicles to earn the top score, which is tougher for 2011s than for older models because of an additional crash test and additional injury recordings. :cheers:

To bad this won't be immediately reflected in our insurance premiums. I know my insurance went down when I got the 2010 Traverse, as compared to the '07 GP GXP, but then again, that was from a Sport Sedan with a V-8 to a family XUV.

Yes the Traverse gets to keep it's tank status ha ha..

I really wonder how stupid some people are when they pull out right in front of me trying to scoot through the cross roads. They sure rely on me having good brakes. People don't drive so well around Windsor.

The Traverse would crush their little cars in a fight.

It's built well the inside under the doors under the covers is almost a solid sheet of metal. The only hole there is just so they could hook up the window.

Then it is filled with a chunk of impact foam not just cover with plastic.

They really thought out the safety well on these things.
