One daughter has an Envoy. The same "spoiler/extension/lamp" assembly on that was taken off by wind while driving along the highway at about 75. It didn't survive, but the remnants revealed that corrosion got to the four fasteners holding it on, and the sealant didn't have a chance after that. At least yours was due to something other than salt-induced rust. The replacement for that came from the southwest and was about $450.
