Havent been here in a while. Has anybody tried to add the tow haul button?

Somebody on the Acadia forum did (added most of the components of the tow package for that matter). Said it was just plug and play?

yeah- he said was plug and play--- even the 6 flashes for the tap signal

Does anybody know the part number for the switch? I want to try this put my dealer can't find the switch that I would need.

a member on the Acadia forum added all the tow package parts himself. I think he had an 07 or 08.
But here is his parts list.... Note the tow haul button....
This can give you a start on the dealer locating a part...

Ok, I have been searching and collecting a lot of information to add the FACTORY tow package to my Acadia.

I believe this will be very helpful to everyone who doesn't have the tow package.

Below is the list of parts you will need:

20781543 The Hitch
11515776 Bolts for the hitch (need 8 )
12191503 7 pin plug receptical
25910884 7 pin harness
25856252 V92 fuse block (without HID), or 25856249 V92 fuse block (with HID)
15249974 Tow button (with power liftgate)
20772530 HD radiator
25802203 Trailer brake controller

i went looking for the part on a GM parts website.

I believe I found it... It didnt show the part number....
But it was listed as

Collision Catalog - 2010 - Chevrolet/Geo - Traverse
Console, Center console, Switch housing, W/o heated seat, W/o heated seat

item 10-- MSPR $45.

the part listed for the 07 Acadia- shows up like this on that website when I search for it,
with these clues-- the parts person should be able to look under the center console parts
