The center belt in the third row seat you know the one in the head liner, you know the one that is always falling out and hanging, oh I knew you would know which one I am talking about.Does anyone else have this problem of the belt always falling down and can you help me figure out how to keep it up and latched... :help:

Make sure it snaps into the little plastic housing . There's a strap too that keeps it snug, but most important is the little hole where the belt fits into, if it's in there right it should never come down, unless it's touched with something hitting it, perhaps when loading/unloading stuff, or if you have kids that are touching things all time like mine do. If they don't touch it, mine stays put like it should all the time.

yeah- when you use that little strap to keep the metal part on--- you then have to place the seat belt into that little hole...
then you push in-- you should feel a little click or sort-- that will hold it in.

well i push it in the holder but no click or snap and it still wont stay up.It was fine the first couple of months but after you actually use the belt it now wont stay up.

We just got back from a 2300 mile trip and ours didn't budge. I don't remember there being a click sound when I put ours up there a few weeks ago either.

OK its getting ridiculous it wont stay in its spot does anyone know if this is covered under bumper to bumper warranty?

I don't know if it's covered, but I would imagine your dealer would be glad to take a look at it for you.

Forgot to mention that I had ours out recently, and when putting it back in the ceiling, I noticed that it has to be pushed in all the way, and really doesn't have a "click" persay, but a definite push to the rear of the vehicle will allow it to snug into the holder, and shouldn't come loose. Make sure you push the little metal end of the buckle into the hole in the plastic holder, and that should solve your problem. If for some reason the plastic is broken, that could be the reason it doesn't snug into the holder....should be covered under bumper-to-bumper.....keep us posted.

I've never heard or felt a click/snap on my 2009 Traverse. But it rarely falls out, so I'm not too worried.

What does tick me off is that the belt is in the middle of the 60 side of the 60/40 split. There is no easy way to reach the belt to unhook if it is plugged into the seat from behind. It seems to me they would have designed the seat or belt so that you could reach it much easier to fold the back seats when needed.

ok, not a click as I described in earlier post- but you definitely feel a little something when you push it in and it engages.
