I have a lifetime sirius subscription and can add another radio for $6.00 or so a month. My free trial XM is about to expire and I know I can add the sirius module. My question is, will I lose the traffic information displayed on the nav system which I know is supplied by XM. any input is appreciated

Now that the companies have merged, won't they allow you to add an 'XM' radio to your 'Sirius' account? All the money goes to the same pot now

I called XM and they said no. To continue with XM i would have to pay extra to get NASCAR, which is included in the subscription from Sirrius. No one has been able to tell me if I will lose my traffic notifications on the nav system. My stereo place said the traffic comes from XM and that the XM will not be disconnected with the install of Sirius but there will be no active account.

I've got about 30 days to figure this out.
