2009 Traverse LT, ~6000 miles.
I've searched this and another forum and can't seem to find if anyone else has the same problem. We have a strange electrical problem going on. On long trips (over one hour), on occasion the radio and other electronics act strange, or stop working. The first time, the radio was on but no sound. DVD played but no sound. The second time, just before the sounds died, the DVD sound was louder than usual (one notch above mute was pretty loud) then noticed no blinker sound, and then radio/DVD sound died. Both times, we pulled over and turned the Traverse completely off then on again, and this fixed the symptom. My wife thinks it's a short, I think it's a computer problem due to the fact that we had to "reboot" the car to get it working again.
