Hello, One of the two FOB+KEY pairs was stolen and I am now under the risk of somebody coming and steeling my Traverse.
What is the best way to disactivate the stolen (FOB & KEY) versus changing all the locks and the FOB I still have?
Thanks

As far as the FOB goes, you can reprogram the one you still have using the DIC. Doing this will change the code the Traverse recognizes as valid. Therefore the stolen FOB will no longer be recognized.

The key is another issue. I don't think there is any way to deactivate a key.

Good luck,

Thanks. Do you think if I reset the PASSKEY 3 + it will cancel the registered stolen key (in case there is a way to reset it)? Or if I just replace it with a new one?

Did you call your dealer? They could probably "unprogram" the key so it won't start the vehicle, but the door lock has nothing ot do with the Passkey system so it would still be able to unlock the vehicle.

If you are concerned about the door being unlocked, you would have to have it rekeyed (locksmith maybe?).
