So in the Haynes Manual, it states the gap for spark plugs is supposed to be .043"... Closest I can find is .044".... The one thousandth more in pre-gapped plugs isn't enough to cause misfire or other problems.... Is it?!? .001", surely to God, it wouldn't....

Also is it possible to replace the crankshaft/camshaft position sensors without pulling engine?

Not likely to cause a problem though it increases the chance for a misfire at very high RPM's, at least in theory. As the tip gradually wears done that gap will increase from .043 so I would expect that the onboard computer compensates or there would be a lot of cars with problems with a plug change interval of 92,000 miles for the Traverse.
