Well we are in full salt season here in southern Ontario Canada.

Over the last three weeks as the Traverse has become covered with salt it starts making all kinds of noise and clunking over bumps.

Wash it and it's all gone. I have never had a vehicle in the past get noise from slat getting on the suspension.

Now we have a nice touch less car wash in out town that does the undercarriage too.

Is anyone else seeing the same thing?

I do not have the same experience here in Northwest Illinois... which is in full salt season too.

No. But I would be surprised if it was the salt. Is it possible that the car wash is melting ice and snow off of parts of the suspension? That seems more likely to me.

Yes I'm wondering if ice is getting caught in the bottom moldings on the doors.

Maybe because of the Temp.outside it just sounds louder.When it really get cold here in Northern Wis.everthing seens louder.We do use alot of salt up here.

It's not the temp once I wash it and it's good for a few days.

Just had a pile of snow today so I will see if it's ice causing it.
