Hello,
Currently working on finding a solution to fix my 2015 Chevy Traverse liftgate. It does not open with the keyfob, the console button or the trunk button.
When one of those is pressed, you can hear the motor engage and the trunk tries to open but it immediately shuts back. The only way I was able to get the trunk open was manually through the hole with a screwdriver pushing the latch. It does NOT open manually from the outside.
I have :
1) Ensured the switch inside was not turned off.
2) Checked the fuse.
3) Checked the car battery.
At this point, I am not entirely sure what my next step should be. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated. Grocery shopping with two kids will be pretty difficult without being able to use my trunk.
