I hv traverse 2010 LS and its done 127000km. Do i need to replace pcv valve or purge valve. There is no code and no issue till now but somebody said to change pcv vv after 100000km.
Also what are the symptoms when these are required to be replaced.

At most I'd clean it... are you consuming oil between oil changes? If so, how much? If you aren't I don't know if it's necessary, the concern is when the passages block up the oil is sucked into the intake and deposited on the valves.

Also, these don't have a PCV valve, it's just an orifice with nothing inside of it.

Thx...i hv not checked oil consumption but eng is v good and soundless not touched yet by any mechanic. No oil in intake and exhaust

At the end of the day it doesn't hurt to clean it and drill out the holes a little bit to prevent issues in the future, but I am of the mindset (and have limited time on my hands) that if it's not an issue it can wait until it becomes an issue.

There is no PCV "valve." It's just a fitting with a couple of holes in it that has a hose connected to it. Clean the holes.
