Passenger seat permanent removal- air bag light get rid

Hi guys, looking to see if anyone removed passenger seat from traverse and got air bag light go away. My wife rides with 3 kids in the back and we short on space for a wagon, cooler, stroller and all other stuff kids and camping need, so I removed front passenger seat. I did solder in two 2.2ohm resistors where airbag connections were, but airbag light is still on. Unfortunately just lent my friend my VXdiag tool and cannot get Tech2Win powered up. I
am assuming some other car seat sensors tripping. Has anyone removed front seat and gotten air bag codes go away. Is there emulator I can buy?

1st gen?
Did you try removing the 3rd row seat? When removed you can also remove the storage compartment in rear. Opens up lots of space. Someone on the forum did this. They had a post and pics.

Yes, first gen, 2012. The storage compartment is removed. I have two kids in 3rd row that cannot reach each other - perfect :). 3rd row needs to stay for me. My wife with newborn sits in middle row - and she can reach 3rd row. I will wait for my SRS code reader. Hopefully some resistor can fix the light. A lot of flat east access storage space is gained by removing front passenger seat.

Ahhh got it. I thought it was 3 kids across in the 2nd row.
I did that a few times.
How about a hitch mounted cargo rack?

Or 3 kids in middle row and wife in front.
The diono can flip around for newborns.

I played around with multiple combinations when kids were in seats and had a 3rd child visiting

Now that’s packing :). Looks great.
My kids are 4, 2, 6 months, and the first two need to be apart or chaos may start. My wife wants to be next to 6 month old.
I did convert my traverse to have tow package since I will be towing 5k boat.
I am considering hitch mounted rack, but then even if I fold up my garage door will not close. Short garage. And then I would need to remove it and store is somewhere. My garage fits two cars tight and every corner is used.
The seat is already removed and chevy does not have connectors for the 4x air bag wires, so I cut those. The amount of space removed front seat gains is a lot. With seat gone I don’t need to have rear rack, nor I need to put anything on top, and it is really easy access. My Idaho / Yellowstone trip is a go. I will ride with air bag light :).
