At first glance I see one has direct access to 6 (I think) favourite radio channel presets. Any chance I am missing something and in fact there are more...say 6 for conventional radio and 6 for XM?

There are 6 per row of favourites and there are 6 rows available, which gives you 36 available to preset. In the setup you select how many rows are available for viewing.

And I love how you can mix and match AM, FM and XM stations in each row of presets!
I switch all the time between news/traffic and music, and this would make it so much easier, with no changing bands back and forth, then selecting the station.

Totally agree with that! Nice to jump effortlessly with the touch of a button on the steering wheel to any of the presets!
