Yeah, I can't get the wiper blade disengaged. I assume when the wiper arm is pulled away from the rear glass about 1-2 inches, that I see the place where it's attached to the wiper. I cannot press in or do anything to disengage it. Do I press in (in other words, press in the opposite direction of the glass), or do I need a screwdriver to try to unlock the wiper arm attachment point?

check the 1st page--- pic 3.
you can see the tab youre supposed to press in while pushing away from the looped metal.

Must buy the Anco 31-13 or from the dealer.

Don't try to use Trico 37-131 (=NAPA 60-1357) or Trico 15-130 (=NAPA 60-1340).

Trico says 37-131 fits but it looks goofy, because the arm sticks way up off of the glass.

Trico says 15-130 fits but it doesn't.

Tried unsuccessfully to post pics but I give up.

If youre drinking a beer(s)- well you know how that goes.

Once you get it off- I suggest you practice with the old one- click in- and remove.
Thank you rbarrios!

I'm thinking a beer or two might have made it easier. But none the less, I eventually got it after about 10 minutes. Once I "figured it out" it was easy after that. Repeated as you suggested and now I can do it in about 10 seconds.

Used a Bosch wiper blade. Don't remember the part number off hand and the package is already gone.

Went to my local auto parts store (Canadian Tire) and they had a 13" wiper for $4.99. Now I'm good for another 12 months.
Hey folks.
Sorry, for reviving an older thread.

But, I'm one of those folks in Canada, who is wondering what aftermarket rear wiper blade, can be found/works, around here. Dealership wants $25+tax for OEM.

I saw these Canadian Tire references, but nobody indicated what "brand" of 13" wiper from Canadian Tire happened to work, or fit. The guys looking up the vehicle (2011 Traverse) in their system, say they have nothing that will fit.

Also, my owner manual actually states that it's a just shy of 12" wiper
ex.
Rear

30.0 cm (11.6 in) GM part # 25920067

So, I guess 13" still just works, if it's the right style?

I noticed mine, the rubber blade is tearing off, so need to replace it.

as shown in post #74 on the previous page---

for $21 USD- I bought 5 of these on ebay....

Shipping/handling/broker/customs charges from the US to Canada, suck. And I'm cheap. :)

I ended up just grabbing a 13" Trico wiper, from the local PartSource, which had a blade style that matched, and I simply pulled the blade off that wiper, and slid that blade in, and installed it, on the existing Traverse wiper. 13" is too long though. My owner manual is right, in that it needs just shy of 12" (13" hits the top of window - too long). So I simply snipped off the extra inch of blade.

It's working great now. Glad I didn't go with the dealer.

I was in K-mart today. They had "Windex" brand wipers in 13". Didn't buy one, but thought I'd let folks know.

Can't comment on quality or fit.

I wanted to comment on Trico wiper blades. Since I could not find Anco 31-13 blades anywhere, I was able to find a 13 inch Trico Exact Fit wiper blade. Once I removed the blade from the back wiper (I noticed it is a 12 inch blade, by the way), I noticed the replacement blade was different from the one I removed. There was a little clip that should extend out that was missing. I attached the Trico blade to the arm, but I did not feel or hear a click. Once you get the blade in place, it should stay in place, but you could easily move it to the right and remove the blade. It did not lock. I would stay away from Trico at least for the back blade. I’ll be looking around for Anco maybe at Napa autoparts, or I might have to pay a little more for a higher grade blade, possibly Bosch.

Actually, I think I'm going to stop by my local NAPA parts store and bring the blade inside to compare. I'll install it there so I'll know if it works or not.

I called the local NAPA this morning and he said Trico bought Anco, which is why I'm not seeing any Anco blades in any parts stores locally.

out of curiosity--- since I remember when ANCOs disappeared from Wal Mart shelves........ and I went all over the place looking for my ANCOS.

went online to find the answer.... as far as I can tell....

Tricos- owned by Crowne Group LLC
ANCO- owned by Federal Mogul.

Getting mine from Amazon

In the U.S a little over $8 http://www.amazon.com/ANCO-AR-12A-Rear-Wiper-Blade/dp/B003OBRSRA

In Canada $10 http://www.amazon.ca/ANCO-AR-12A-Rear-Wiper-Blade/dp/B003OBRSRA

I was thinking about trying the Michelin one but it's twice the price http://www.amazon.ca/Michelin-9512-Stealth-Wiper-Blade/dp/B00COE3Z8E/ref=sr_1_sc_2?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1454974675&sr=1-2-spell&keywords=michelin+rear+wiper+bladew

A bit off topic. I started using the FRONT Michelin Stelth. Yes, more money, but quiet, flip flops each time, no chattering. Cleans the glass cleanly and completely.

I bought and used the Trico blade for the rear. Even though it didn't click when installing, it has worked fine and I don't think it would ever come loose.

:thumb: I use them on my Sierra and really like them, the Costco in my area carries the front ones and about twice a year they go on sale so I make sure I pick a couple up.
If the rear one I found on Amazon ever goes on sale I'll get one and try it out.

So I went to Napa the other day and bought their brand (Napa AccuFit 60-012-2) and installed it on our Traverse. Felt a solid click and it's on there! Hope it works (at least a year). I looked on the back of the label: Federal-Mogul. So Napa's generic brand is the old Anco brand.

Thought I would mention I installed the Rain X Latitude wiper blades on the front a few months ago. A bit pricey, but I have to say I really like them.
