@xltbest thanks so much for the picture. I just bought these dampeners from GM and il do it myself. Looks too easy to do!

What is that actually material the dampers are made from? I rubber vacuum hose, but the noise is still there.

I added these to my ‘21 today but haven’t driven it yet. Will report back.

I can report back a marked improvement in the noise from the purge valve, well worth the cost of the two dampeners!

They are a special foam, heat resistant and a select density to absorb vibration.
IMO as long as one's phone connects to the vehicle don't worry about anything else.

Based on your pictures and the others it looks like you flipped those two lines. In yours the PCV line is now under the purge line. It may not matter but if you change the "vac hose" repair for the the "rubber/foam" parts you may want to change that routing back to the original.

@xltbest is it possible that the dampener don't seal the entire pipe all around? I just got mine in the mail put it on and there's a gap between one side and the other. Hope I'm clear enough and it would be a huge help if you can clarify this.

I bought three pieces and installed them, and the noise has decreased by 97%!
I plan to install a fourth piece to cover the entire pipe, and I'm confident that will take care of everything.
I want to express a huge thank you to everyone who contributed to this post. I'm glad I started this discussion, and I hope this solution brings relief to as many people as possible, just as it has for me!

Hmmm, ordered the parts....
I think they got lost. Were to be delivered yesterday. Theyve been in Wilcox, Az for 3 days now.

My 2 pieces, and the pressurized coolant bottle for my 13 equinox. I found it has a crack, allowing drops of coolant.
