Hoping to get some help with distortion coming from the stock head unit feeding the signal processor and 6 channel amp. I had an installer upgrade the door speakers and add a sub. Problem is he is convinced the head unit is limiting the signal going into the new signal processor. If you turn the volume up more then half way it distorts and also seems as though it is automatically adjusting the eq as the volume goes up so the frequency range seems limited. The anc has been disconnected.
Has anyone experienced this before? Maybe we need a different signal processor?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
