We loaded 120 landscape bricks at about 7-pounds each on cardboard.
Even though they were within a few feet to the rear door and stacked about 18' high, it rode fine and only a little sway was noticed at higher speed turns.
wow.
Interesting.
I did this in my Trailblazer--
But had wondered how it would be in the Traverse..
Did you by any chance get down and look to see how close the big rubber stopper was on the suspension?
I Just realized- thats about 4 adults... (200 lbs each) in the vehicle..
the vehicle should have been fine then...
(Ive had 6 adults and 2 infants in the Traverse) and roughly calculated the weight of them-- vs the max weight the vehicle can take...
Most of the adults were thin-- so I still had some capacity left..
