I managed to negotiate the dealer paying for most of putting on a trailer hitch since the car I wanted didn't have it, when I bought it. I just got around to having them put it on today.

I went to pick it up today, and I look in the back, and saw nothing. The service guy saw me looking at it like, 'what the heck?' and came out and goes, it's under the cover. You have to unclip the cover from the underneath to expose the hitch. Never saw a cover like that before. lol.

Good thing I looked when I was there.

pretty neat...
just remember that with your aftermarket hitch-- it wont have the same tow rating as the factory unit since the factory unit also comes with larger radiator and cooling for tranny..
If youre only doing bike rack etc... you should be fine.

Right, they did mention to me that it's not equivalent to the factory tow package, due to the things you mentioned.

The only thing I need it for is my bike rack, so I'm good.
