Group,

Given the fact that injection is into combustion chamber and valves have nothing flowing over the back of them except for air and PCV fumes, what is the proper way to do intake/valve cleaning as tank additives and fuel rail additives would not theoretically work in such a setup due to lack of "washing " effect on back of valves like traditional injection systems utilize. I have read of the use of crushed walnut shells in extreme cases of buildup where it effects valves and guides and on other manufacturers where GIDI was utilized, but being a newer system to GM, has anyone had luck with intake induction additives that would clean valves and seats as well as chamber of deposits?

PS love the tags all over the harness, made in China...
