Seems if I'm cruising at 50mph the RPMs surge up and down. It's about 200-300rpm just enough where you can fill the vehicle move. Any thoughts on this? No CEL either

Cruise engaged, or not?

Flat or hilly terrain ?

Towing or not ?

Check engine light, or not ?

What tier level of fuel are you using ?

1st thing that came to mind was misfires causing that surge that many folks in 2009's report... (though they usually describe its apparent on hills).
THey think its the Trans slipping but always turns out to be misfires.

It does not always set codes.
