So ordered a 2023 on Jan 16. MLK holiday.
On Feb 27, the Chevrolet website 'bot' told me my vehicle had been built.
Today, (March 7) the dealer/salesman txt me with a pic. My Traverse had arrived.
Shipped from Michigan to Southern California.
7 weeks 1 day, order to delivery.
Ill pick it up Friday.

Congrats! Not seeing as many vehicles sitting in lots around Lansing lately. Like they are getting parts, and not as many are waiting for missing components as there were a year ago.

I have been waiting for my 2023 traverse since May 2022!
Are you serious?
My order was submitted as 'sold'.
It gets moved up in the production queue.
Your saleman give you an order number?
Could be yours was built, but is on hold on a lot due to missing parts from shortage?

My salesman did say that back in jan, they were still waiting on a 2022

Yes, salesman is not sure what's going on either. It was built the week of 7/25 and has been sitting ever since. I ordered the RS in black with weather mats, and I did add a keypad entry to the door.. moderately regretting that now if that's why its been held for so long.

I wondered about that numeric keypad.... and thought.... another point of possible failure... and left it off

I like our Traverse but if I'm waiting more than a month or two for a car it better be something really special.

Congratulations on you new 23. I have a 09 outlook and have been following your posts on here and over on BITOG , acadia and enclave sites too I believe since about 2010. Your posts are very informative and appreciated. I too just bought an 23 RS (keeping my 09 for now). Let us know if you get the 3 year remote access plan that I had posted about a week ago. If it's on you window sticker you should get it.

We recently got a 2023 that is primarily my wife's vehicle, and she actually wanted white! I thought the red looked much better.

As for build times, it seems like the higher-trim versions are more likely to be built. We originally wanted an LT w/ several options packages, and after months of the salesman's efforts, Chevy still wouldn't even accept the order! He was able to look at the vehicles being shipped, and there wasn't a similar vehicle to what we wanted being shipped out anywhere in the country. He suggested we look at the Premier trim instead, and we immediately found exactly what we wanted at the very dealership the salesman worked at!

Underhood heat shield... present
Heated seats.... present
Rear park assist.... missing.
There was a credit for this.
I can see why they wont retrofit these sensors.
It would require a new bumper.... with the proper holes for sensors.

Vehicle was also under MSRP.
No extra market conditions markup.

See mine has the credit for the rear sensors on my '22 and says I'll get the retrofit later on too, but it has the bumper with the holes/sensors already (they just don't work).

So for the 2023's not getting them now & no retrofit promised, like your car, they're just getting a smooth bumper.....which makes sense.
