I'm not sure where to post this but I thought that this might help potential buyers.

When we bought our Traverse, there were some important things that carfax reported that autocheck did not. On the other car, it was the other way around.

Strange...

It seems Carfax would have reported the fact that the vehicle was a fleet/rental vehicle.

IF Enterprise owned it--- then sold it--- it becomes property of the dealer.
so the dealer gets the new title.
if then you buy it-- you only see the dealer as the previous owner?

Yes, I think you're correct on this. I'm thinking the AMOUNT of previous owners shown on the title varies state to state, but, more than likely, the title will only show the dealer as the owner, even though the dealer, in this case , is already the 2nd owner.

Isn't there an option code inside the glove box option code sticker that will give away that it was a rental before? Something like "ENT" or similar? Might google that for more info...

A member here- has a previous rental. this showed up under his vin...
they may also be on his glove box decal....
