Blinker not working on driver side

So... one day last week my driver’s side blinkers quit working. Both front and rear do not light up. The flashing arrow on the dash flashes double time like the bulbs are out. I checked both bulbs and found them to be fine and still decided to replace them with new ones just in case. Even when I turn the hazard lights on, only the passenger side blinks.

Took the vehicle in and they pulled the fuse under the dash on the passengers side to find out it was blown. They put a new fuse in and turned the blinkers on and it blew that fuse right away. They figure a short somewhere.

Could it be in the hazard switch or blinker switch itself? I’m not good with electrical so any advise would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

The fuse feeds into the BCM. The BCM then feeds power to the lamps. I'm guessing a wiring short.

Id check the bulb sockets for corrosion and or a shorts there. (does the LED lamp on the mirror blink?)

So you say even the E-flasher also does not flash them-- so Im tempted to say its not an issue with the turn signal stalk.
Was any work done to the vehicle before the lights went out?
No service was done prior to this happening. Someone did add a 4 pin wiring harness for pulling a trailer and I removed all of that stuff. None of the bulb sockets looked corroded. I’m leaning more towards a short in the hazard blinker switch but have no evidence to back it up.

I'm having the same issue on 2011 Chevy Traverse. (Ppl reply with the dumbest answers😔) let me know if you've found a real solution

They never came back since 2018 so don't look for a reply.
