Howdy,

I have a 2018 Premier AWD. The driver side mirror is auto dimming and is awesome! The passenger side is just a standard mirror. This seems like it is incorrect, like maybe the previous owner replaced the mirror at some point and didnt want to pay for the more expensive one. So my question to you guys: Should my 2018 Premier AWD have an auto-dimming passenger side mirror?

No, and all the cars I've ever had with a dimming exterior side mirror only had the driver's side that did it too btw.

My '11 Tahoe and '20 Traverse D side are auto dimming. The dimming is linked to the inside rearview auto dimming.
and no none have had P side dimming.
I wish my Traverse had power folding like my Tahoe though.

Awesome thanks for the replys. The Acuras I had had auto dimming passenger too, so I thought maybe it would be the same. Thanks for the info!

It seems that it is the trend. BMW F30 had both sides autodim along with the rear view mirror till 2016 I believe. F30 was discontinued in 2018 but the passenger mirror autodim never reappeared
