Don't know what model year you have, my brand new 2015 has the same problem since day one. The entire rear console is hot (not warm) to the touch. I guess it is the nature of the beast.

Same with my 2010.
Been like that since bought new in 2009.

That's interesting I never noticed it on my 2009. With the hot and humid weather here in Arizona I've been running the rear A.C. a lot.

I have the LS model maybe I don't have the same control panel. All I have in the rear is 3 knobs, the fan speed, temperature control, and airflow location. So I have been using these knobs a lot lately to control the A.C.
