I have a 2018 Traverse Premier with pretty much every optional feature I could pick. I have all the sensors, the display shows me how far behind the leading car I am, etc. However, adaptive cruise control was only an option on the High Country. I did not want the HC because of one reason -- I HATE HATE HATE the sh*t brown leather seats. I wanted black leather, but that is not an option on the HC. So I had to pick between ugly brown seats or adaptive cruise control. Funny how the seat color is a "compatibility issue" with the ACC. Anyway, is there a way to enable that, either yourself or through the dealer? I would imagine it is as simple as plugging the car in at the dealership and setting a sales code or something to flip the bit and enable it. If there is something I'm missing physically I'd like to know to. If they just won't do it because I don't like brown leather, that would be nice to know too.
