Going by what you have described, your blend door actuator in the front (it is an electrical/mechanical part) is shot. Sometimes you can reset it by pulling the correct fuse but 90% you will have to replace that actuator. You can get to it by removing the lower panel in front of the passenger and dropping the glove box. There are videos on Youtube that will walk you through it.
If everything was fine before it sounds like the blend door is out of sync. I tried syncing mine but all the procedures didn't seem to work. Took it to the dealer and for a few bucs had them sync it with their computer. Worth a try before tearing into the dash.
There are two ways to get the actuator to calibrate. Both are listed in the repair manual. One is to pull the fuse for 30s, reinsert the fuse, then turn the car on (not start) and do not touch the climate controls for 2 minutes.
The other is to hook it up to a scan tool and ask it to recalibrate, which is what the dealer is doing.
I also found that you can disconnect the electrical connector on the actuator. Start the car let it run for 30s. Turn the car off, reconnect the actuator. The next time the car is turned on it will automatically recalibrate.
But there is no guarantee the recalibration will work. The actuator could be shot.
You can also reset HVAC by 1 putting controls on AUTO. 2 disconnect battery for about 5 min.
3 Reconnect battery turn car on dont touch anything for a min to let the HVAC reset.

It is sometimes confusing to me about why there are two evaporators in the car..
Is the rear evaporator responsible for cooling the rear section of the car?
