A/c leak $1700 replace hose to the rear a/c

ahhh yes-- that spot-
I remember someone had that same issue.
I think there was a service bulleting about it.

It appears the brace is attached to the hose on yours------ but check to see if its attached to the engine.

I snapped from underneath the car - and looking up between the firewall and engine.
The hose that did the rubbing- is supported by a brace that attaches to the engine.


If someone worked on your vehicle- they may have left that off- or put it back in the wrong position?

On mine- there is plenty of space.







 
im wondering if you do find your brace is loose or not attached...

that you can say-- hey-- this is installer error....
give me a price break.....
 
on this thread - I posted pics on post # 26.
of what my hoses look like--
this is between the engine and the firewall.

Some folks- these hoses rub- causing wear on the hose and eventual leak.

There is another post where someone posted a pic of the actual wear on their hose... may be another post on here
