My 2023.
Im curious if these are a dealer add on or factory.
1) green capped nitrogen in tires
2)anti paint scratch plastic shield at every door handle. they protect from nail scratching paint
3)guard on every door edge

These below are dealer applied.

perma plate?
NSD tracing?
And ally decals on many body parts.

100% the dealer & their added fluff (for more profit)

And you most likely paid for those extras/add-ons too 🙁
Look at the bill of sale, or whatever form it's called, to see a break down of the price. They would've had to added it on on there (on it's own line/item), or padded the MSRP with it possibly -- but then there should've/would've been an addendum form listing what was added and the price (and subsequently new total vehicle price) next to the window sticker:

If you didn't pay for it though...congrats & enjoy the freebies!

None listed as additional items.
Vehicle price is below msrp.
I guess the vehicles come off the trailer and they are all immidiately 'prepped' with this stuff.
My window sticker was in car, but not applied to the vehicle and no addendum.

The little scratch protector for door handles are cool, my wifes daily driver equinox, has tons of scratches in those door handle pockets.
The green caps, were surprissing, every car on lot had them.
Ill replace them eventually. Regular air is fine.

The local Honda dealer does something like that - every car has door edge guars, mud flaps and something else I can't remember. Part of their prep process.

Hard to "prep" nitrogen in tires. You can deflate the tire and add 100% nitrogen, but you'd need to do this a number of times to get close to 100% nitrogen. And then they charge you big bucks to keep them inflated to proper pressure with 100% nitrogen.

The RV manufacturers started this about 8-10 yrs ago; it's a scam.

Put black caps on them and forget about nitrogen.

Yup will just proceed with regular air.
Replace caps.
Costco now has nitrogen pumps for members to air up for 'free' outside their stores.
No fee for it when you get new tires also.
But i have a regular compressor at home.....

We used to do that "etching" back in the day, on every new car, when I was a porter.

It's all just extra stuff for them to make money, especially since sales went down during Covid with the low inventories. They roll it in somewhere though.

The PPF (paint protection film) would be welcomed/handy though.

Some of that stuff has to be "activated" (i.e. paid for) though to work or be active....like the etching (Ally tracing stickers).
You should've gotten paperwork on that stuff though, or the finance guy should've explained it (that's their spiel/sell), if it was activated.
If not, outside of that it's just a sticker lol

Paint protective film under door handles and on door edges was dealer installed, along with ceramic window tinting. No green capped nitrogen fill. I'm good with protective film and window tint; would have fought nitrogen if charged for it.
