My last fill up (Dec 5th, at 14,969 miles) my combined cumulative average was 22.29 mpg. That is predominantly city-type driving, although it has two long-distance trips of 2500-3000 miles each. Highest mileage has been 30.00 mpg; 19 of 60 fill ups have exceeded 25 mpg; lowest mileage was 15.54 mpg and 16 fill ups have been less than 20 mpg. The Median is 23.02 and the StdDev is 4.6485. All calculations via Excel spreadsheet.

65-70 mph on Interstate 20, through Georgia and Alabama. We've gotten just under 28-29 (28.82, 27.50 and 27.46) on numerous 200 mile trips up Interstate 35 to north Dallas at 75+ mph. 70 mph seems to be a sweet spot for it.
Interesting. I never have seen over my 24.7 on a road trip to CO from CA though vegas.
Might be limited to no change in elevation down there in the south and in Texas.
Do you have the V6 or the 2.0?
Last weeks 500 mile round trip avg. 24.6, mix of interstate and country roads, best on display is 28.4 .

When driving on the open highway my 2018 gets between 17 and 34 mpg depending on how fast I drive. At a steady 55 mph I get the 34 mpg. Around town the Traverse is getting 0 mpg much of the time as I am stopped and waiting for traffic to clear or at a stop sign or traffic light or in bumper to bumper traffic.
Gas is cheap at $3.50 a gallon in California as 99% of the motorists are speeding past me when I am going 72 mph and they are in city areas where their trip length is less than 30 minutes so they save at most 3 minutes and burn through a lot more gas in the process. I wish gas was priced at the level of the countries in Europe which would encourage saner driving and the use of more fuel efficient vehicles.

And fewer people dying in the middle east and less air pollution and less asthma and less fracking that poisons the ground water for entire communities in the USA. Seems like a good trade off to me as it is only having people at the pump pay the true cost of the gas and not be subsidized by the taxpayers.
If you gotta have 4 doors, it's nice to have the LS3 up front, even if it gets the same mileage as our TraverseThe RS did for a few years.
