Iv got a single fan & shroud assembly exactly like the one shown in the picture above and I couldn’t trigger it (to insure its functional) with the conventional “car battery and a couple wires technique” any suggestions? I’m under the impression the white wire has something to do with it being dual speed.

• how did I get it?- insurance company replaced it due to minimal damage to shroud.

• why do I want it?- its a big Fuckn high speed bitch and I want to use it to replace the engine fan on my fox body!

I have the same situation, did you find how to trigger it? Also installed it and run the car for 30 min to check if starts and did not, temp was always ok
