2015 chevy traverse...123000 miles...started hearing ticking-rattling sound only at idle...it ends once i give it gas.
recent oil change...added LUCAS oil treatment today...a day or so after the sound started. ideas? Thanks.

Forgot to add...noticed sound once I took and kept the engine cover off. I don't think the sound was loud enough to catch my attention with the cover on.

First thing to do is drain out the Lucas!

The high pressure pump will make ticking noise.

Touch the purge valve by the throttle body, see if you can feel the ticking coming from there.
