2012 Chevy Traverse Transmission Replacement

So my transmission is slowly going out and eventually I will need to have it replaced, but I don't really want to pay 7000$ for Chevy or someone else to do it.

Do you think I could do this by myself at home with just common tools? or would it not even be worth my time and just better to have someone else do it?

What would be the easiest way to replace the transmission?

Prob cheapest to remove yourself, and take it in to get repaired, then reinstall yourself
Theres videos on you tube, different ways to get to it.
Save $ on the labor to remove ans reinstall
Just an idea

This guy does by basically disassembling the entire front. Common tools needed...mostly. It's an Acadia in the video. Traverse will be very similar.
