Paint correction and ceramic coating done!

Just got the 2019 back from full prep and ceramic coating. Had it coated top to bottom including the rims, face and wells. Smoked the tail and headlights with badge removal except RS. Still some work to do but it's a start. Pics included.

When you apply ceramic you do a full paint correction (polish) since the ceramic locks in any swirls you have on the paint.

Looks great - thanks for sharing.
What technique was used to smoke the lights; tinted film or spray tint?

I live in Arizona and have a bunch of kids so it did have light swirls and also we have a ton of rocks out here so whole front 1/4 of the vehicle will take shots. Looking at full clear bra to help. I was tempted to do it myself but a company close to me uses the carpro line and has the car pro certification to use the professional version. Film tint on the lights. Letting it cure another week then first checkup on the coating.

Next up is swapping out the fog lamps, replacing chrome lugnuts, trying to get bowties with 0 chrome. The one that is killing me is the center cap on the wheel why are there OEM center caps for other Chevy products with all black but can't find one for the wheel.

Lol, yes it's the turbo 4, honestly with the torque and knowing I'm not towing anything it's been a lot of fun. I have no complaints about that engine in that vehicle. I know most rip on it and it caused me to pause but everyone is getting the redlines and for the extra cost I'm very happy with the 4 banger and money to spend for additional enhancements I want. BTW, GM stopped putting that engine in the RS this year.

I have considered moving to the black gloss wheel. Same style but black and no redline red.

U got a black vehicle cause you wanted a black vehicle, right? Doesn't it get kinda/sorta warm in summer,or does the a/c do a good enough job?

Up in yankee land black would be ok,

In Arizona,New Mexico, Texas white is the predominant color, for obvious reasons.
