XM Traffic or On-Star?

Good Morning All! Weather is getting warmer FINALLY! Just had a quick question.. Is the traffic seen in the pic XM Traffic or On-Star? My guess is XM..

XM Traffic or On-Star?

XM, you have to pay for it. I dropped it after the free trial. Waze CarPlay integration is much better.

You are lucky, I have both OnStar and SiriusXM and get no traffic whatsoever; even with the Traffic settings turned ON.

Maybe Traffic is not available in Eastern Canada.

I have to use Google Maps via Android Auto which displays Traffic very well on their map.

It's sad when free stuff works better than devices that you pay big money for.

You have to pay for the XM Traffic ay $3.99 a month to get it.

Didn't know that, thank you very much for mentioning it. That explains why it doesn't work.


My SiriusXM was due to auto-renew this week at $356 for a year. I called to tell them to cancel and they lowered my subscription to $130 for the year. I also get the Online subscription.

I hate that I have to do that every year; threaten to leave so I can get a better deal. Oh well...
