My traverse is sitting on 20’s stock from factory but seems like there is enough room for 22’s... although I’d personally never do that.

Would it be possible to change the wheel hub and put one on from a Tahoe or silverado

That might be a possibility if the axle spline count were the same. Other than that I don’t see any reason it couldn’t work.

Now that I’m looking at both hubs they look very similar and could probably just swap rims.

My '18 Traverse 20's use a stock 255/55R tire standing 30" off the ground; the 22's on my new '19 Silvy use stock 275/50R s which stand a full 2" higher off the ground.

Even if the wheel hubs match problem is to jamb a suitable tire onto 22" Silvy rims unless you can find a 255 tire profile with the thickness of a rubber band which likely won't seat properly on Silvy 22" rims. Doubt there is any suitable 22" tire profile with width and height that can accomplish minimal wheel well interference, suspension bottoming and/or speed/distance accuracy.

The 20"s on the Traverswe look like donuts compared to the 22's.

Wife told me anything but red or white - convinced her it is called Sunset Orange - hope she doesn't find out the real GM name is Red Hot!

Traverse spoiled me, wanted all the new gizmos on the truck. The four LED headlamps plus LED fogs and taillights like the Traverse, clinched the deal.

These are the wheels I just bought. They’re 20x9” with a 6x139.7 pattern. The hub on the Traverse is 6x120. The oem wheels are 18x7.5

Should work well if you stick to the stock 255/55R profile 20" tires.
