2012 Traverse Lurching/Jerking when downshifting

Hello,
I'm new to the forum and had a question I couldn't find what I was looking for by searching the forums.

Our 2012 Traverse with about 97000 Miles on it started to Lurch/jerk when downshifting when coasting or braking when I am reducing speeds. I think it's more noticeable for the slower speeds than it is coming down from 60-70mph. I checked tranny fluid level and it was a tad low so I added enough to get up to the proper level and the problem appeared to go away but it has cropped back up again after a week.

The odd thing is that this is not happening every trip, but when it happens, it lurches the whole trip and sometimes goes away when I start up the vehicle the next day.

Example: Drove 2 hrs when I first noticed the issue and experienced the issue the whole trip. The very next morning, I had a short 30-40 minute trip and it was acting fine.

I have an appt to get into a dealer but they are backed up over a week in my area (NW WIsconsin) so I wanted to ask around and see if there were others seeing similar issues.

thanks in advance!
