Auto Stop Disabled

I have a 2018 Traverse. Recently the Auto Stop feature was somehow disabled. Took it to the dealer and they said they fixed it, but it didn’t work as soon as I came to my first stop. Does anyone know how to enable this feature?

Most posters here want to disable it. You're first I've seen that doesn't.

Your issue may very well be that you aren't meeting the requirements for a stop/start.

See the 1st post in this thread for what parameters are necessary for the function to be enabled:

Thanks for the feedback. It’s not that I don’t want it it disabled, I just want to know how or why it was disabled. Is there something wrong with it, was there some kind of malfunction? There are a few times the car has jumped after hitting the gas after being stopped at a light.

Nothing on your dashboard indicates it has been disabled or other. You car/vehicle/engine just has not met the requirements for the S/S system to become active.

As greentraverse linked to, read that post for all of the prerequisites and variables that need to be met before S/S can be activated.
