Driveshaft/U-joint replacement

2011 Traverse AWD here, I'm gathering that the rear u-joint in the driveshaft is non-serviceable. My search hasn't turned up any alternatives...has anyone come across a u-joint that fits??

Long story short, I just wrapped up swapping in a new motor since my original seized at 119K, replaced the battery and some odds and ends so I'd really prefer to not drop more cash on a $600 driveshaft if I can just replace the joint.

Any help is much appreciated.

You can buy an assembly for Rockauto, or get a used unit from a used online source.

Thanks but I was looking for an option to just replace the joint, not the entire driveshaft.

Long story short a compatible replacement joint couldn't be located so my buddy ordered one through his shop's account .

When mine was about to go, I noticed it just a few days before going on vacation last summer. Naturally I needed to get it done right away so down to the mechanic she went as I searched prices for replacement joints. I couldn't find the replacement U joint but rather the whole shaft for about $300. The shop charged me over $700, I believe it was close to $900 for the job, live and learn.

Normally it wouldn't have bothered me too much to have to replace the driveshaft (though at 120k miles), but after already shelling out several grand on a new motor it wouldve been nice to just pop in a $50 u-joint!
