This ongoing thread is an old one.

For you guys who have recently purchased your USED Traverses, be certain your name and address is connected to your VIN, in Chevrolets' data base.

You want to be aware, if any warranty updates or recalls come out. If you are connected with Chevy, you'll get the info.

There have been several warranty extensions on the Traverses, following ongoing repairs on certain items. You want to be aware of these updates.

Contact Chevrolet Customer Service to verify that your VIN and you are connected. thumbs up

Never saw this thread. I got kind of an oddball rarity of sorts but it was a sweet combo package for the price. LT1 with the Traveler's package that includes the rear seat DVD but also in '10 included Nav. Tradeoff was the radio doesn't have USB/iPod input. I guess in the '10 model year they switched to USB capable infotainment (pre-MyLink) but had some old Nav units without, so to get rid of them they packaged them. Beyond that it's cloth and 8 person seating.

Since we're buying another soon I've kept an eye on '14s and '15s, and it's hard enough to find any LT1s with the Traveler's package and Nav pretty much doesn't exist on that trim level anymore. Trying to convince the wife to use her iPhone nav instead so I don't have to pay for an LT2 or LTZ next year wink

I absolutely love my AWD 6 Cylinder LS.  There wasn't one thing on the higher models I needed.  Wanted maybe, but didn't need and saved the money for other needs.   angel

My exact thoughts!  2013 LS AWD, the best combination of features and value.  The new body style (2013+) LS has many extras that were previously only available in LT+ models.

I own a 2001 LT2 FWD Traverse. 80k on it now. Had it just over a year and have had the power steering and water pumps replaced. Can't believe all the oil that sucks back into this engine!

What year do you have? They have an updated valve cover and a gasket(needs both, one side gets the cover) for the older models that's supposed to fix that.

I have a 2013 LS which I am very happy with. It is not AWD, and I am just wondering how it will handle in the snow. I got it at the end of February and haven't driven it in any substantial amount of snow. I did just get some new rubber on it though (Goodyear Assurance Fuel Max).

I own the LT2, it has the backup camera , dual sunroofs, bucket seats front and rear with 3rd bench seat which are all leather. power everything, windows , seats driver and passenger. power moonroof. I forgot I had trailer hitch until I took the cover off. The factory builds whatever General Motors  tells them . Based on demand and peak buying trends.
