Anyone out there know how to disable the door chime.  I like to listen to the radio while working or detailing the vehicle.   Is it as simple as disconnecting the chime in the door?  Would appreciate any input.

newer GM cars-- play the chime thru the radio- and out the speakers.
there is a setting on other GM's for HI and LO chime level.
THe other option is to set the key to start- and then manually turn off the headlights.

THis is what i do on my 07 Impala and 03 Trailblazer
