You will need to find the rear blade- Either dealer or ANCO.
I found this blade at Wal Mart. $4.57.  $4.96 with tax.
ANCO 13 inch blade part 31-13

To remove the blade is quite easy- once you know what to push- and where to pull. Once I took it off- I put it back on and took it off several times.
I can now remove the blade assembly in about 10 seconds. Putting it back on another 10 seconds.
If youre drinking a beer(s)- well you know how that goes.

Remember- dont pull too hard on the wiper arm- last thing you want is to break it.
Youll want to place your finger in the approximate location my finger is as shown (Note those 2 bumps- those actually hold the wiper arm to this cover).



This is the underside of the same area..



What youre looking for is this small tab-- the one my finger is touching- its the release tab.


Press in the tab from the back-- at the same time with your other hand- grabbing the rubber blade and a bit of the metal assembly- push towards the passenger side of the vehicle-- the wiper arms pivot point....  this will release the wiper blade from the metal loop shown here.



Once you feel the blade assembly slide to the right  you should then be able to pull the blade assembly away from you (towards the glass).
For 1st timers- you may want to slide it back and repeat the push tab method. You will eventually get to the point where you can pull it towards the glass and youll feel it separate from the arm.  I suspect that if youre in snow country-- road salts may build up and make it seem that it hard to pull.
Below is a pic of the wiper arm- you can see how the wiper arm- slides into the hook.



To put on the new blade- reverse procedure.
push the assembly in- and slide to the left.
Once you get it off- I suggest you practice with the old one- click in- and remove.


new blade installed- and its 1st wipe- with washer fluid.



the new wiper sticks out just a little on the left side. not much--- but its a very good replacement.

if you decide to change the rubber blade ONLY--- you would have to squeeze these metal tabs

Wanted to say- thanks to Quantum- for leading me to the ANCO blades availability at Wal Mart.

They were well stocked- a good 8 of them on the hook.

I'm still switching just the blade part and not even removing it from the housing.  I'm using 13 inch blades but I'm trimming that little extra bit off of the blade to stay at the OEM size.

I want them to design a 13 rainX flex blade for the back.

I put the flex blades on my fiancee's Vue we just bought and it was 100% better then the stock ones "which were new even" that would drag across the glass all the time.

Great how-to pics. Since I have yet to ever turn my rear wiper on I probably won't have to use the information. It is nice to be retired, you can stay home when the weather is bad enough to get the rear window dirty.

tried the wiper this morning-- nice clean-clear swipe
It appears the ANCO may do better over time- as the arms that hold the blade are wider-
On mine- after a while- the factory would leave smears towards the center--exactly where the little arms dont apply pressure on the blade.

Thanks rbarrios!  Just picked up the 13" rear window Anco wiper at Walmarrt today and it literally took less than a minute to swap out and only costs $4.57 plus tax.   Cheers

Yes did the refill replace. had to get a longer blade as they did not have a smaller at the time. Just took rubber out and reused metal sides and trimmed the rubber to size. Works like a charm!

But looking on Walmart.ca I don't see ANCO listed.

hehe-- no-- but 1 yes.

If you note- on my signature...
I was sent a letter from GM Powertrain. They wanted to know if they could come to my house or workplace--- and download engine data.
I called them back- and said SURE!
They told me that for my trouble-- theyd give me a $100 check.
A technician showed up- hooked up a laptop to the OBD port- and downloaded data. Once done- handed me a $100 check.

Very nice writeup as usual, Except for one thing, up here in the north (upstate NY) with all the salt, I was unable to get the blade out even after taking the whole arm off and trying to pull, twist, lubricate, etc..Apparently the metal will pit and swell from the salt. Even had the owner of a glass place that replaces windshields and wipers all the time help me, and it took almost 45 minutes to get apart, and change the blade. Now I pull the arm off before each winter, and lubricate the blade so it will come out. Helps, still tough to get apart, but I think I'm due for a new arm. GM could have make the arm flip all the up like the front ones to get to it easier, but why would they think of doing that....... Bang Head

Head to Store/Wal Mart-- before it rains/snows..

you know- if you wait till you cant see out your window... you go buy new ones-- and tons of people beat you to them-- and the whole rack is empty or packages opened or stuff moved around
