I see this subforum doesn't get much activity, but I figured I'd post up for any Illinois owners out there.  I'm in central IL, about halfway between Chicago and St. Louis.  I just bought a 2013 Traverse LS this week after several months of research and (mostly online) shopping.  Chime in if you are from the area!

I also live in central Illinois, just a bit north of Springfield. Have a 15 Traverse 2LT we bought last summer. Already have 45,000 miles on it after a trip our west this summer. This is our second Traverse. Had a 2010 that we traded on when it had 92,000. Been using the forum to see what tires everyone else recommends. Need to replace mine soon. Getting noisy!!

Nice to "see" you scooter, you oughta update your signature with the new car.  wink  I too will be looking for tires (mine are original to my 2013!), but I'm going to try and get these through winter.  It depends on how much snow & ice we get this year.  If it's heavy, I may replace the tires sooner.  But the current set still has acceptable tread remaining, considering their age and miles (64k on 60k rated tires).

When I bought tires for my last crossover (2007 Chrysler Pacifica), I found that All Season Passenger tires gave a much quieter/smoother ride than the Performance or SUV tires.
