I have a 2015 that about a month ago would not start due to a drained battery (we left a cooler plugged in for a couple hours) i jumped it and it has been fine until today.

Nothing was left on at all but this morning is was dead, battery drained again.. i have heard there may be issues with the parking sensors or the radio but cant confirm this?

anyone have any thoughts? i appreciate the help.

Thank you

I have a 2010, we went camping and my son left his iPhone to charge overnight with out telling us. Next morning the traverse went into battery saver mode and we could bearly start it, and when it finally started it had reduced features( radio stayed off , and interior lights didn't work) we drove it a few km into town and back and it said battery sufficiently charged. It might need a good reason n t charge it.

It was 2009 or 2010 models that had the parking sensor/radio issues.
And it had to be a certain model radio.
THe issue was backing in or parking in such a way that the sensors sensed something- and you parked- and they remained on-- never shut down....

The fix was a software patch.

In your case.... what are your driving habits?
If you do daily short drives... then you may not be allowing the battery to fully charge-- before you ask it to do more cranking- radio- seats etc....

A full drain of a car battery will significantly reduce its life expectancy. Back in the days when I was responsible for the maintenance of a fleet of trucks, we adopted the policy of replacing all of the batteries after an alternator failure drained them, as we found it was inevitable that the batteries would need to be replaced in a few weeks anyway.

Your battery probably has already used nearly three years of its expected (at best) five year life, so you aren't losing that much by replacing it. However, you can take it to any automotive store and ask them to do a load test, which would confirm whether or not your battery was truly on its last legs. See here for a bit more info on the load test:
