Fix for the Power Fold Mirrors and Power Door Locks ?

Has anyone used gruvenparts.com for the replacement power folding mirror parts, and the for the power door lock motors ? From the left banner, GM Trucks is last category down and you can see all the products.

It doesnt say on their product page if these fit Enclave, it just says "GM trucks" but I assume Enclave could also benefit from these parts. I called them and they said they should fit but to this point have only installed this stuff on the Tahoes, suburbans, and pick ups. From the DIY's they posted, it all looks the same.

If anyone has bought from them please let me know as Im considering.

has anyone been succesful working with GM to resolve the issues with the power door locks and the power fold mirrors? I wonder if they would cover this under goodwill, since its an obvious design flaw.

I wonder if his problem is really the door connector getting water in it?

I have the power folding mirrors in my 2016 LT-2 and so far-so good. I agree that when you have a problem with them and the power door locks involving one door, it is more than likely a connector that needs cleaning and new dielectric grease. What leads you to believe you have fried motors?

Lots of these trucks have power fold mirrors. From what Im reading anyway.

And the issues all seem to be related to the plastic gear in the drivetrain of the mirror assembly. It breaks, and renders the whole thing worthless.

I've never seen one with them, either.

Not sure what year the OP's verse is but Rock Auto has replacements, another member used them with success. My 09 LTZ has folders too.

yes you certainly can get replacements from rockauto, the full mirror, its like 300-400.

the problem with that is guess what ? you get another crap-tastic plastic gear in there. which will also break. Repeat cycle until you go crazy.

So ... why wouldnt you just replace the faulty gear in your existing unit with the gruvenparts brass mirror gear, as thats all thats wrong.

what am i missing here ? ive replaced both now, and its been working for months and i fold 2 times a day every day min.
