Hello! We have a 2015 Traverse that came with the 20" wheels. One thing I hate is the tire selection for the wheels as there aren't that many and they are pricey.

My wife likes the more aggressive looking tires and was curious if any 20" wheels made for trucks would work? She likes the LT and AT type tires.

Dont know if the versado CUVs are LT....

my brothers 20 inch tires-- were CHEAPER than my 18's.

Toyo Versados in 255/55R20
$740 out the door. (mount, balance, CA tax of 9%).

for 255/65R18
$801.25 out the door.
though it was several yrs apart-- surprissed his were cheaper.

the 20's, 18's, 17,s on the Traverse-- have the same OUTER diameter.
I guess if you can stay with the same outer diameter and width-- youd be ok with the speedometer calibration.

Thanks everyone!

Does anyone know if I can change the tire size to match one that I can get a truck tire in?
if it's any help, i replaced my stock 18' tires with GY Wrangler take-off truck tires, size P265-65-18 the O>D. is slightly larger and according to my GPS it hasn't affected my speedo

My wife really liked the GoodYear Assurance tires that we had on her Acadia before we traded it in on our Sierra. It had the 18" rims though.

The OEM size is 255/55R20. GoodYear does have those tires in a 275/50R20 size. Would this fit the OEM rim?

I also noticed that the Nitto Terra Grappler comes in a 285/50R20 size. Would this also fit the OEM rim?

I used to have an f150 that ran 265/65/18 wranglers and when my traverses tires needed to be replaced, I couldn't afford a new set so I tried the 18's I had left over and they fit fine. Only rubbed when turned full left or right.
As for rims, nothing but crap. Winter alloys and expensive rims that can't handle a little off road. We have a cabin a few hours away and the roads are gravel and sand mix, with huge rounded ones poking up. I found a set of rims Ilike and they can be cut to fit the traverse but they want $1399 a rim so looks like I'm staying with the stockers until I can find another OE set and get them hydro dipped.

I like the white letters out.
