Hello! We have a 2015 Traverse that came with the 20" wheels. One thing I hate is the tire selection for the wheels as there aren't that many and they are pricey.
My wife likes the more aggressive looking tires and was curious if any 20" wheels made for trucks would work? She likes the LT and AT type tires.
The limiting factor with Traverse is the wheels have an odd bolt pattern that does not match the Chevy trucks so there are a lot less choices available. But there are some available so enjoy looking.
the 20's, 18's, 17,s on the Traverse-- have the same OUTER diameter.
I guess if you can stay with the same outer diameter and width-- youd be ok with the speedometer calibration.
if it's any help, i replaced my stock 18' tires with GY Wrangler take-off truck tires, size P265-65-18 the O>D. is slightly larger and according to my GPS it hasn't affected my speedo
I used to have an f150 that ran 265/65/18 wranglers and when my traverses tires needed to be replaced, I couldn't afford a new set so I tried the 18's I had left over and they fit fine. Only rubbed when turned full left or right.
As for rims, nothing but crap. Winter alloys and expensive rims that can't handle a little off road. We have a cabin a few hours away and the roads are gravel and sand mix, with huge rounded ones poking up. I found a set of rims Ilike and they can be cut to fit the traverse but they want $1399 a rim so looks like I'm staying with the stockers until I can find another OE set and get them hydro dipped.
I like the white letters out.
