Rear back up camera

Ok guys. After I get the nav radio installed, I would love to get the oem back up camera as well. My first question is... I have a 2010 Ls Traverse. Did not come with back up camera. Are the wires still run in the headliner for it I saw these on ebay. Item: 140862523118 and 140909692716. Was wondering if I purchased these would I be able to find the wires if they are there and them just plug in for it to work I doubt it is that easy, but hope so. The wires were run for me to add side mirrors with turn signals and heater. SO hopefully this will be too?? Anyone know where to look??

Re: Rear back up camera

I was unable to locate the wires.. I traced the wire harness from my mirror back all the wires were there until just past the overhead lights just past that it connected to another harness and the wires were not there..

So I just ran a full kit from ebay in mine. It appears the LS has a different harness in the head liner.

Re: Rear back up camera

I was reading on the acadia forum to take off the panel where the jack is. There is a control box there and one of the plug in is missing, any chance that would be where the camera plugs into??

Re: Rear back up camera

I would say Ebay item 121065519548 runs up to the front connectors under the head liner.

There is two routs though one to the mirror the other would go to then NAV

The two boxes that I know of back there is one is the XM radio receiver the other is the Onstar module.

There is also an extra plug in the back of mine however that unused plug is for the AC inverter used in the high end models.

The connector from the mirror is only about a foot long and connects to another connector under the head liner. I traced the wires from the mirror to that connector and that is were the backup camera wires stopped. I assume that is where you would have to put the wires from Ebay.

This is the pin out from the mirror.

The pin out is as follows:
1-4 not used
5 Gray - Automatic Day/Night Mirror Signal
6 Pink - Camera Signal +
7 Light Blue - Camera Signal -
8 Black - Ground
9 BK/WH - Backup Lamp Voltage
10 Not used
11 BK/Dk Green - Keypad Signal
12 BK/Lt Green - Keypad Voltage
13 BK/Yellow - Ignition Voltage
14 BK/Gray - Keypad Green LED Signal
15 Brown/White - Keypad Red LED Signal
16 BK/Red - Low Reference
